nell\u2019integrazione di soluzioni digitali 3D avanzate con AI per i\u00a0<strong>settori industriale, biomedicale e difesa<\/strong>, compie un nuovo passo nel percorso di sviluppo della medicina rigenerativa.<\/p><p>Grazie a\u00a0<strong>Electrospider<\/strong>, la prima biostampante 3D italiana brevettata a livello globale e progettata da\u00a0<strong>Bio3DPrinting<\/strong>, societ\u00e0 controllata da\u00a0<strong>Bio3DModel\u00a0<\/strong>e parte del gruppo SolidWorld, \u00e8 stato realizzato un proof of concept\u00a0<strong>di scaffold tracheale biomimetico<\/strong>, in grado di riprodurre la complessit\u00e0 del tessuto umano e di aprire nuove prospettive nella ricerca applicata alla rigenerazione degli organi.<\/p><p>Questo studio rappresenta un esempio concreto di collaborazione tra impresa e accademia, dove la sinergia tra know-how industriale e ricerca universitaria genera risultati tangibili nel campo della biofabbricazione avanzata.<\/p><p>Riprodurre una patch\u00a0<strong>biomimetica\u00a0<\/strong>per\u00a0<strong>trachea\u00a0<\/strong>significa creare un modello che imiti fedelmente la struttura e il comportamento dell\u2019organo naturale. La trachea, infatti, \u00e8 un organo complesso, formato da\u00a0<strong>mucosa, muscolo e cartilagine<\/strong>, che lavorano in sinergia per mantenere la perviet\u00e0 delle vie respiratorie e consentire il passaggio dell\u2019aria.<\/p><p>Fino a oggi, la possibilit\u00e0 di riparare o sostituire tratti danneggiati della trachea \u00e8 stata ostacolata da tre fattori principali: il rischio di\u00a0<strong>rigetto<\/strong>, la difficolt\u00e0 di ottenere una corretta\u00a0<strong>vascolarizzazione\u00a0<\/strong>e la\u00a0<strong>complessit\u00e0 anatomica\u00a0<\/strong>specifica di ciascun paziente.<\/p><p>La ricerca condotta con Electrospider mira a superare proprio questi limiti, aprendo la strada a\u00a0<strong>soluzioni personalizzate per difetti tracheali di media entit\u00e0<\/strong>, come quelli derivanti da\u00a0<strong>intubazioni prolungate, traumi o malformazioni congenite<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Grazie alla capacit\u00e0 unica di\u00a0<strong>combinare pi\u00f9 tecniche di biofabbricazione in un\u2019unica sessione di stampa<\/strong>, la macchina consente di ricreare strutture tridimensionali che riproducono la\u00a0<strong>disposizione naturale dei tessuti\u00a0<\/strong>e il loro\u00a0<strong>comportamento meccanico<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Nel caso specifico della trachea,\u00a0<strong>Electrospider utilizza tre tecnologie di stampa integrate<\/strong>:\u00a0<strong>l\u2019electrospinning<\/strong>, per la produzione di micro e nanofibre che simulano la matrice extracellulare; il\u00a0<strong>Pneumatic Melt Extruder (PME)<\/strong>, che consente la deposizione di polimeri termoplastici in grado di conferire stabilit\u00e0 meccanica e forma al costrutto; e il\u00a0<strong>Photocuring Pneumatic Extruder (PPE)<\/strong>, che permette di depositare materiali fotosensibili, come alcuni idrogel, in modo controllato.<\/p><p>\u201c<em>Electrospider \u00e8 una delle pi\u00f9 grandi scommesse tecnologiche che abbiamo intrapreso,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>dichiara\u00a0<strong>Roberto Rizzo, Presidente e CEO di SolidWorld Group<\/strong>. \u201c<em>La patch tracheale biomimetica che abbiamo realizzato dimostra la maturit\u00e0 della nostra piattaforma e la capacit\u00e0 del Gruppo di connettere visione industriale e ricerca avanzata. \u00c8 un passo concreto verso la biostampa di nuova generazione, che unisce scienza, ingegneria e impatto sociale.\u201d<\/em><\/p><p>L\u2019innovativit\u00e0 della piattaforma risiede nella sua\u00a0<strong>testa di stampa multifunzione<\/strong>, capace di combinare fino a\u00a0<strong>cinque tecnologie di stampa diverse nella stessa sessione di biostampa.<\/strong><\/p><p>Questo permette di gestire diversi materiali con risoluzioni che spaziano dal millimetro alla scala nanometrica e, in prospettiva, di sviluppare, non solamente\u00a0<strong>patch\u00a0<\/strong>ma anche\u00a0<strong>organi complessi realizzati in un unico processo<\/strong>, garantendo al tempo stesso un\u2019elevata ripetibilit\u00e0, qualit\u00e0 e produttivit\u00e0.<\/p><p>Una volta ottimizzato il processo, la patch potr\u00e0 essere replicata in grandi quantit\u00e0, assicurando una minima variazione tra i vari campioni di produzione e una notevole velocit\u00e0 di realizzazione.<\/p><p>Il progetto nasce all\u2019interno del dottorato di ricerca di Alessandro Velletri, svolto presso l\u2019Universit\u00e0 di Pisa e cofinanziato da Bio3DPrinting nell\u2019ambito dei fondi PNRR dedicati alla ricerca e innovazione nel biomedicale.<\/p><p>Presentato nel corso del\u00a0<strong>Congresso Europeo di Biofabbricazione (ESB)\u00a0<\/strong>e della conferenza\u00a0<strong>Biofabrication 2025 in Polonia<\/strong>, rappresenta oggi una tappa significativa del percorso di ricerca e sviluppo di Bio3DPrinting e conferma le\u00a0<strong>potenzialit\u00e0 concrete\u00a0<\/strong>della tecnologia Electrospider.<\/p><p>La possibilit\u00e0 di\u00a0<strong>biostampare strutture fisiologicamente rilevanti<\/strong>, infatti, apre nuovi scenari non solo per la sperimentazione in vitro ma anche per il futuro\u00a0<strong>sviluppo di organi trapiantabili<\/strong>.
