spettro di possibilit\u00e0 formative sempre pi\u00f9 variegato. Un esempio \u00e8 dato dai workshop in cui i medici possono testare la tecnologia e sperimentare nuove soluzioni additive, oppure organizzare corsi di formazione con modelli stampati in 3D. &#8220;<em>Un ambito di applicazione su cui lavoriamo da anni \u00e8 quello della chirurgia<\/em>&#8220;, spiega <strong>Federica Giovannini<\/strong>, Ingegnere Biomedico di <strong>Bio3DModel<\/strong>, &#8220;ed \u00e8 possibile organizzare incontri mirati con le diverse specializzazioni\u201d.<\/p><p>L&#8217;azienda ha partecipato, fra gli altri, a un workshop organizzato dal <strong>Santa Chiara Lab<\/strong> presso l\u2019Azienda ospedaliero-universitaria senese di Santa Maria delle Scotte, con chirurghi ortopedici, neurochirurghi, maxillofacciali, chirurghi generali, vascolari e cardiochirurghi e ha preparato per l&#8217;evento diversi tipi di modelli stampati in 3D con le stampanti Stratasys Digital Anatomy. Per i chirurghi vascolari e i cardiochirurghi sono stati preparati modelli di porzioni di vaso e di cuore da suturare, utilizzando i materiali Stratasys specifici per tali parti. Per la parte di chirurgia generale sono stati preparati modelli rappresentanti porzioni di organi interni con vasi ed eventuali calcificazioni, per fare training sulla separazione dei tessuti e sulla sutura, con dei materiali diversi che riproducono ad esempio le caratteristiche del fegato: &#8220;<em>Avevamo preparato un cubetto con vasi e calcificazioni<\/em>&#8220;, spiega Giovannini, &#8220;<em>cos\u00ec che i medici potessero <strong>allenarsi nel separare i vasi dal tessuto circostante ed eventualmente rimuovere le calcificazioni e poi nel suturarli<\/strong><\/em>&#8220;. Per i chirurghi ortopedici sono stati preparati diversi tipi di ossa, tra cui porzioni di femore e di tibia: i medici sono intervenuti con i loro strumenti per verificare se la risposta dell&#8217;osso 3D fosse come quella dell&#8217;osso reale. I modelli 3D sono stati stampati utilizzando materiali specifici per la <strong>stampante 3D Digital Anatomy<\/strong>, prodotti per simulare la risposta meccanica ossea: in questo caso \u00e8 stata utilizzata la resina Bone Matrix.<\/p><h3>Che cosa \u00e8 stato prodotto per la Neurochirurgia e per la Chirurgia Maxillofacciale?<\/h3><p>\u201c<em>Nel campo neurochirurgico sono state effettuate prove su porzioni di cranio e di colonna vertebrale, che hanno dimostrato di avere un comportamento verosimile. Lo stesso risultato \u00e8 stato ottenuto nella chirurgia maxillofacciale. Questi modelli sono stati stampati con miscele di materiali preparate ad hoc per tali tipologie anatomiche<\/em>\u201d.<\/p><h3>Come si lavora per avere dei modelli cos\u00ec precisi?<\/h3><p>&#8220;<em>Per realizzare un modello 3D partiamo sempre dalle immagini diagnostiche, TAC e\/o RM, che carichiamo nel software di segmentazione Mimics Medical di Materialise e attraverso il quale elaboriamo tali immagini per ottenere un <strong>modello anatomico virtuale<\/strong> della zona di interesse<\/em>&#8220;, spiega ancora Giovannini. \u201c<em>Dopo aver ottenuto il modello 3D virtuale estraiamo, per <strong>ciascuna parte anatomica<\/strong> da stampare, un file STL. Prima di stamparli \u00e8 necessario controllare la qualit\u00e0 di tali file ed effettuare un ulteriore processo di modellazione 3D attraverso il <strong>software 3-matic Medical di Materialise<\/strong>, attraverso il quale \u00e8 possibile anche aggiungere label e altri elementi, ad esempio, dei connettori, oppure oggetti tipici dei CAD. Una volta effettuate le correzioni o le modifiche del caso specifico si ricavano nuovi file STL e si importano nel <a href=\"https:\/\/bio3dmodel.it\/software-grabcad\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>software di stampa GrabCAD Print<\/strong><\/a>. In questo software, in cui sono registrate tutte le stampanti Stratasys, \u00e8 possibile scegliere con quale macchina stampare tali modelli<\/em>\u201d.<\/p><h3>Quali sono le macchine che realizzano concretamente le parti?<\/h3><p>\u201c<em>Le stampanti Stratasys del settore medicale pensate per simulazione e formazione sono la<strong> J850 Digital Anatomy<\/strong> e la pi\u00f9 recente<strong> J5 Digital Anatomy<\/strong>. Una volta stabilita la macchina, si procede con l\u2019assegnazione delle famiglie anatomiche alle varie parti che abbiamo importato. All\u2019interno di ogni famiglia anatomica (vaso sanguigno, anatomia generale, sistema muscoloscheletrico, cuore\u2026) abbiamo la possibilit\u00e0 di scegliere diversi sotto elementi (parete vascolare, miocardio, fegato, vertebra\u2026), ciascuno dei quali pu\u00f2 avere ulteriori diverse caratteristiche, ad esempio di rigidit\u00e0, compliance, porosit\u00e0\u2026 Una volta assegnate tutte le famiglie anatomiche e tutte le caratteristiche si va a stampare. A stampa terminata il modello viene pulito ed \u00e8 subito utilizzabile<\/em>&#8220;.<\/p><h3>Com\u2019\u00e8 possibile ottenere un tale grado di precisione?<\/h3><p>\u201c<em>Con il <strong>software Digital Anatomy Creator di Stratasys<\/strong>, si \u00e8 in grado di realizzare nuove miscele di materiali ad hoc per ogni specifica applicazione. \u00c8 possibile scegliere quanti materiali utilizzare e come distribuirli all\u2019interno di ogni singolo strato che la stampante realizza. Quindi, dagli 8 materiali della stampante J850 Digital Anatomy e dai 6 della J5 Digital Anatomy si possono ottenere nuove combinazioni che soddisfano le esigenze di ogni chirurgo<\/em>\u201d.<\/p><p>Nel caso di Siena il workshop \u00e8 stato condotto in sala operatoria: sono stati predisposti diversi tavoli su cui i medici, con appositi strumenti, sono andati a operare direttamente sulle repliche anatomiche stampate in 3D. La realt\u00e0 che incontra le nuove possibilit\u00e0, dunque.<\/p><p>Bio3DModel coltiva un rapporto ad hoc con i medici, anche in relazione ai modelli di stampa 3D per la formazione: quando un medico chirurgo individua un caso su cui poter far formazione fornisce a Bio3Dmodel le immagini diagnostiche e, assieme, studiano come realizzare il modello stampato in 3D, che riproduca la patologia e che possa essere utilizzato come strumento di formazione. A differenza dei cadaver lab, con i modelli di stampa 3D \u00e8 possibile replicare anche le patologie e consentire al medico di far pratica direttamente sulla propria scrivania.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-25 elementor-top-column elementor-element
