Thanks to the new bioprinter Electrospider we are already able to print parts of the epidermis to apply on burns and to test new medicine; in the future also organs and bones for transplants.

In an article published in the MoltoSalute magazine, Roberto Rizzo explains that "it is a unique machine of its kind worldwide, the result of the research work of a team from the University of Pisa led by bioengineering professors Giovanni Vozzi and Carmelo De Maria and by researcher Aurora De Acutis. We have already patented it in Europe, USA and China. And now we are preparing to market it, we already have several hospitals ready to acquire this bioprinter“.
